It Takes More Than Likes: The Real Cost of Saving Kittens 💛🐾

Starting a kitten rescue is not for the faint of heart. It's long nights, emergency vet runs, bottle feedings every few hours, and making hard choices with limited resources. It’s emotionally rewarding—but financially draining. And while we’re deeply grateful for every like, share, and kind comment on our Facebook posts (we truly are!), what we really need to keep going is a little more than love.

We need your help. Not a lot. Just a few dollars. Because believe it or not, $5 here and $10 there adds up fast—and can literally save lives.

Skip the Coffee, Save a Kitten ☕🐱

You’ve heard it before, but let’s really put it in perspective:

  • $5 = a bag of kitten kibble that feeds one kitten for an entire week.

  • $8 = a box of disposable gloves we use during medical treatment and daily cleanings.

  • $10 = one bottle of kitten formula for babies who’ve lost their mama.

  • $15 = a pack of dewormer to treat intestinal parasites common in strays.

  • $20 = a soft bed and blanket to make a scared kitten feel safe for the first time in their life.

  • $30 = basic vaccinations that protect them from deadly viruses.

That $7 latte or $6 fast food meal? To us, that’s life-saving supplies.

Why Every Dollar Matters 💸

Unlike large shelters or national rescues, we’re small. We're community-based. We don't have a big operating budget or staff—we just have passion, volunteers, and an endless stream of kittens needing help.

We want to open our doors wider, take in more kittens, and give them the best chance at a healthy, happy life. But we can’t do that with likes alone.

You Can Be the Difference 🌟

We know times are tough. That’s why we’re not asking for hundreds. We’re asking you to give what you can—a few dollars, once or monthly. And if donating isn’t possible right now, we get it. You can still help by:

Because in the end, it's not one big donation that keeps us going—it's a lot of little acts of kindness from people who believe these tiny lives are worth saving.

Thank you for standing with us, believing in our mission, and helping us make the impossible a little more possible—one paw at a time. 🐾💛
